MAESTOSO PRECOCIA

1999-2017

~December 29. 2017~

"Today the ranch said goodbye to the spectacular Lipizzan Stallion Maestoso Precocia. He passed away peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of our vet's stall. He gave me more than I could ever give back to him. A true gentleman, he will be sorely missed in his driveway paddock greeting all that came by. I love you, My Stos. Go take Kirk for that ride in the snow." -Lisé

1999 Lipizzan Stallion

Maestoso II Birgetta x Precocia

Maestoso Precocia ("Stos") came to us from a rescue out of Madera, California. From a dusty, ram-shackle chicken barn where he lived in a 10X10 stall he has emerged as an outstanding mount, breathtaking mover and one gentle man. He puts an outstanding shoulder and hindquarters on all his babies as well as a workers mind. He loves to learn and is happiest when at work. Stos crosses well with any breed and is a dominant stallion with the ability to breed out flaws in mares. Add this bloodline to any of your mares for an outstanding event prospect.

MAESTOSO CSONGOR

1996-2019

~February 8, 2019~

"We only got a few inches of snow but I'm over winter and over snow already. Sadly, this weather has not been kind to the older part of our herd. Lipizzaner stallion Maestoso Csongor was euthanized today. He was in his twenties and fought until the end, but ultimately he could not overcome the situation. I'll remember him for the very large gentleman that he was. His last foal is part-bred son CLK Neil Diamond and we are certain he will continue the breed's grand legacy." -Todd

1996 Lipizzan Stallion

Maestoso XXXVIII x Favory Ropke

Maestoso Csongor ("Chong") was born in Hungary. He is pure Hungarian breeding on the bottom and pure Romanian on the top. These are very rare lines...even in Europe. He is very correct and offers a lot of bone and frame. "Chong" was ridden dressage in his native country until he was imported in 2006. He was imported by Joe Kasza and was successufully trained and campaigned in competitive driving. After retirement, Chong spent 3 seasons at Woodland Stallion Station. Chong has come to Circle Lazy K to spend the rest of his years standing at stud.
